- Army Contracting Command - Warren intends to solicit, on a full and open competitive basis, for the remanufacture of 175, M915A3 Trucks (NSNs: Induct as 2320-01-523-2486 Return as 2320-01-432-4847) provided by Red River Army Depot (RRAD). The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, facilities, management, transportation, tooling, and equipment to remanufacture M915A3 Trucks provided by RRAD. This contract is to augment RRAD maintenance capabilities. The contractor shall rebuild trucks listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall receive the truck, tear it down to the chassis and rebuild the truck. The contractor shall return all assets worked under this SOW to Condition Code quote mark A quote mark, zero hours/zero miles standards IAW with the SOW and all applicable Technical Manuals (TM) and Technical Bulletins (TB). The contractor shall inspect, repair, and install, if missing, all Modification Work Orders (MWO). The contractor shall check for Safety of Use Messages (SOUM) and Ground Precautionary Messages (GPM) for every truck. The contractor shall procure, create, and band all Basic Issue Items (BII) and Components of End Item (CEOI) located in the listed TM's, on the trucks before returning them to RRAD. All work, to include any subcontracted, shall be performed within the 250 mile straight-line distance from the depot to allow for in process review and final acceptance by Depot inspectors. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. A date for inspection of the vehicles at RRAD will be made available after the solicitation is posted. The purpose of this Special Notice is to identify potential sources both within 250 straight line miles of Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, TX and to determine if there are any interested Sources outside of this distance. In your response to this notice provide: --The Name of Your Company --The Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code for your company --Experience with the remanufacture of M915A3 Trucks (if applicable) to include quantity remanufactured or RESET, and contract numbers --Experience with the remanufacture of other US Army Tactical Vehicles, to include quantity remanufactured or RESET and contract numbers --If your company is an approved Freightliner repair facility --Experience with the overhaul of Freightliner products --Size, in square feet, of facility where work would take place --Size, in square feet, of storage space to hold vehicles awaiting remanufacture, work in process and completed units awaiting transportation back to RRAD --Percentage of storage space anticipated to be available for work on this contract considering other work currently being performed at facility --Any other Government contracts performed by your company, not covered in the responses above --A general statement of interest and why you feel your company is capable of performing the work. --The impact on the 250 mile proximity to your ability to compete for the requirement Responses are requested no later than 1PM on June 29, 2015.
