Description

The Iowa City, IA Veterans Administration (VA) requires the following service, "Transportation and Storage" of overflow VA owned supplies/ parts/ equipment. Interested parties should expect to pick up, drop off and transport VA owned supplies, parts, equipment to and from address' listed below. Some supplies, parts and equipment will require storage as specified below. Supplies, parts, equipment are located at the following addresses; Iowa City VA Medical Center 601 HIGHWAY 6 W Iowa City, IA 52246-2209 Servicing Community Based Out-Patient Clinic's (CBOC) and Clinic locations; 2979 Victoria Street Bettendorf, IA 52722 2230 Wiley Blvd SW Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 520 10 Ave Ste 200 Coralville, IA 52441 915 Short St. Decorah, IA 52101 200 Mercy Dr, Ste 106 Dubuque, IA 52001 310 Home Boulevard Galesburg, IL 61401 1009 E Pennsylvania Ave Ottumwa, IA 52501 721 Broadway Street Quincy, IL 62301 406 Avenue C Sterling, IL 61081 945 Tower Park Drive Waterloo, IA 50701 Contractor will provide moving and storage services for the movement of VA owned supplies, parts and equipment for the Iowa City VA Health Care System as well as assigned CBOC and Clinic locations. Mileage reimbursement rates shall be determined at the government rate specified via the US General Services Administration website, www.gsaadvantage.gov and as listed within "Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) Mileage Reimbursement Rates" applicable to privately owned automobile's only. -Mileage reimbursement for transportation requirements is limited up to 300 miles (one way)/ 600 miles (round-trip). Mileage reimbursement will not take place past the limits listed above. Invoices shall list mileage traveled for each trip. -The 2015 mileage reimbursement rate for privately owned automobiles and as of 01 January, 2015 is $0.575 per mile. -Mileage reimbursement rates shall be updated for when each option year is exercised. Vendor must provide moving/ storage services described in this document within 24 hours from time of request. Contractor must be able to receive drop shipments. Contractor must be able to provide 3,000 square foot of storage space at any one time. Storage space must be in a smoke-free environment and provide protection from the elements. Storage must have a winter temperature range between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Contractor must be able to guarantee security of supplies and equipment.
