Description

Bio Form RFQ-0137 The Congressional and Public Affairs Department (CPA) is seeking an experienced web developer to be a full-time Personal Services Contractor serving as the Web Programmer. The successful candidate will join MCC's Creative Services team to play an active role in the planning, development, coding, implementation, and management of new and existing functionality on MCC's public website, www.mcc.gov. Activities include writing clean, light, semantic, standards-based HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript code, developing templates to display content from the website's content management system and coordinate data sharing within MCC for mcc.gov. The Web Programmer must be able to translate ideas, concepts and designs into code to create a compelling user experience. In the near term, this position will work with a broad swath of MCC staff on a major website re-design and re-development project. While this position works collaboratively with subject matter experts throughout MCC, the Web Programmer will be part of Creative Services within the Department of Congressional and Public Affairs.
