- SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE DATE: 1 Jul 15 thru 31 Dec 15 (6 months) DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished in the Performance-based Work Statement, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) in US MCAS Iwakuni, Japan and surrounding areas. The period of performance is anticipated to be six (6) months. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Jul 15. This service includes but is not limited to packing, containerization, providing storage and local drayage of household goods for inbound, outbound, intra-city and intra-area services as defined in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). This is a solicitation for a Bridge Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to continue providing Household Goods Packing and Crating Services in US MCAS Iwakuni under the authority of FAR 6.302 to fulfill the requirement until the follow-on contract is awarded, which is currently in process.
