- Document Security Form Supplemental Bid Sheet Certs & Reps GSA 527 SF 24 Draft Agreement SF1442 Solicitation SOLICITATION: The U.S. General Services Administration hereby issues a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide firm fixed price construction services to renovate portions of the existing Autec Federal Building in West Palm Beach, Florida. This RFP is 100% set aside for exclusive participation of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) only. Businesses who are not SDVOSB will not be considered. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. The size standard is $36.5 million. In accordance with FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the Government estimates the range of this project falling between $4,000,000 and $7,000,000. The project includes interior and exterior alterations of the existing AUTEC Federal Building in West Palm Beach, Florida. This work includes the complete build-out of a new customer service center including offices, conference/training rooms, reception windows, reception waiting area, and customer restrooms. The project also includes renovation and expansion of four GSA building restroom, exterior water intrusion repairs including roofs, expansion joints and exterior fiberglass panel replacement, replacement of existing storefront windows & installation of new windows, security & accessibility upgrades, and the installation of a new Dedicated Outdoor Air Handling Unit (DOAHU). Offerors are required to include a bid bond with their proposals and the successful offeror will be required to provide 100% payment and performance bonds within 10 days of award. The Government will hold a pre-proposal conference and site visit at the Autec Federal Building in West Palm Beach, Florida at 11am EST on June 30th, 2015. Interested offerors must e-mail the Contract Officer to obtain entry to the pre-proposal conference. Prospective Offerors are cautioned not to visit the facility or attempt to contact anyone in connection with this project other than the Contracting Officer, Cathal Duffy, at cathal.duffy@gsa.gov. Proposals are due to the Contracting Officer, via e-mail no later than 4pm Eastern Standard Time, on July 20th, 2015 to cathal.duffy@gsa.gov. Late proposals may not be considered.
