- The Joint Army-Navy-NASA-Air Force (JANNAF) Interagency Propulsion Committee is composed of representatives from the Department of Defense (DoD), the military services, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The two components of JANNAF are the Technical Executive Committee (TEC) and the Programmatic and Industrial Base (PIB) Executive Committee (PEC). JANNAF is chartered to: (1) promote and facilitate the exchange of technical information; establish standards; effect coordination of research, exploratory development, and advanced development programs in the areas of missile, gun and space propulsion; and accomplish problem solving in areas of joint agency and national interest; and (2) provide a forum to identify rocket propulsion industrial base issues, identify opportunities for collaboration, and accomplish problem solving in areas of joint agency and national interest. The Contractor shall provide propulsion related technical expertise, technical information management, logistic support services supporting propulsion related events and activities, program management, and propulsion industrial base expertise to support the JANNAF goals and objectives. The purpose of this support is to supply propulsion technical and logistics representatives to assist in the development and execution of the JANNAF programs and plans and to provide knowledge management (KM). The Contractor shall support Government industrial base assessments, integrated assessments, trade studies, analysis and special actions; and manage the products of those activities to meet the objective of NASA specific activities in support of the propulsion industrial base.
