Military Sealift Command (MSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a Sole Source firm fixed price purchase order to Fincantieri Marine System North America for the USNS SPEARHEAD (JHSV-1) USNS CHOCTAW COUNTY (JHSV-2), USNS MILLINOCKET (JHSV-3) USNS FALL RIVER (JHSV-4) and USNS TRENTON (JHSV-5). 2. Manufacturer: Fincantieri Marine System North America 3. Classification Code: 333618 4. Closing Response Date: July 1, 2015 at 10:00 am Norfolk, VA local time. 5. This procurement is a FAR 12 acquisition being conducted under FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program. Accordingly, simplified acquisitions procedures apply. After receipt of quote, the Government may without notice, negotiate with and, if desired, seek a quote revision from quoter. 11. Basis For Award: Award will be made to the responsible, technically acceptable quoter, whose quote, conforming to the Requirement 12. Set-aside Status: UNRESTRICTED; Decision is based on FAR 19.502-2. Based on market research, there is not a reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns. Military Sealift Command Small Business Office concurs with determination.
