Description

VA786-15-R-0282 Pre Solicitation Notice for Grounds Maintenance Services For Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott KS Fort Scott National Cemetery is located at 900 East National Avenue, Fort Scott, KS 66701 RFP VA786-15-R-0282 - The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, equipment, materials, and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed in a manner that shall meet or exceed the requirements to maintain healthy turf grass and that presents a clean, neat, professional and aesthetic grounds appearance throughout the Cemetery. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the activities of mowing and trimming; trimming around headstones, edging around flat markers; curb/sidewalk edging; weed control; providing fertilizer; and associated services. "Perform Grounds Maintenance services to include mowing, string trimming, edging, deliver herbicides, and fertilizers. "FT Scott is approximately 90 acres (19 improved acres and 71 unimproved) Contract is for one base year plus four, one-year options, if exercised. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 516730 is applicable. Please reference Solicitation Number RFP VA786-15-R-0282 on remittances. An electronic solicitation will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about July 6, 2015. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., August 6, 2015. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
