Description

Medical Hazardous Waste Removal This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The Department of Veterans Affairs, VAMHCS and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located within Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to a qualified firm with the capability and capacity to provide hazardous, dual, and universal waste disposal services, emergency spill response services, lab pack services and removal of non-hazardous chemical waste in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The NAICS code assigned to this procurement is 562211 "Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal" with a size standard of $38.5 Million. It is anticipated that the solicitation number will be VA263-15-R-0704. The solicitation is full and open (unrestricted). Offerors will be evaluated on technical ability, past performance, and price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Item and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with two (2) 12-month options. Service will begin September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016 for the Base Year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about June 29, 2015 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Once the solicitation has been posted, questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and may be sent via email to: adam.barnes2@va.gov. Proposals must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely.
