- 1. The project is for repair work on storage tanks and compressors, as listed below within the Baumholder Military Community, USAG Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. The construction work consists of the repair and removal of faults on tanks and pressure tanks. Work includes inspections by the T V (German Technical Inspection Association), as well as on plants/systems involved in the handling of substances hazardous to water. Details of tanks and compressors are listed below. Work and materials must conform to regulations, standards, guidelines and provisions in the respective latest version of the VOB-Teil C quote mark. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. It may include brand name or equal items. The Magnitute of Project: $25,000.00 - $100,000.00. 3. The performance period is 210 calendar days from the date of contract award. 4. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 2015 with an anticipated closing date of 29 July 2015. The solicitation will be at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. 5. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by the Theater Contracting Center, Kaiserslautern. 6. Work will be performed in Germany and the contractor must comply with currently applicable German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). 7.
