- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Arlesha Smith, Contract Specialist, email: arlesha.d.smith.civ@mail.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. PRON: AX5T6045AX, NOUN: Bearing, Ball, Annula, NSN: 3110-01-258-7974; P/N: 2-300-941; CH-47 Turbine Engine, Min/Max Quantity: 15/321 each on a 5 year Basic + 4 Options type contract applicable to CH-47 Turbine Engine with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA. Required delivery with Contractor Tested First Article Requirement is 15 each 263 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 76 each for years 2-3 and 77 each for years 4-5. First Article Test Report is due 163 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Test is 15 each 175 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 76 each for years 2-3 and 77 each for years 4-5 until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to Honeywell International, Inc. (CAGE: 99193) and New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (CAGE: 83086) because this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of the DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All prospective manufacturers, or distributors, seeking to compete for a solicitation for Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM) Spares, for any restricted source parts, are required to be an AMCOM approved source. To obtain approval, vendors must submit a SAR package, for review and approval, to the Engineering Directorate (ED), Quality Engineering Division. Source approval must be obtained prior to being considered for contract award. Approvals are made on an individual part number basis for a specific manufacturing location (CAGE). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by following the SAR submission guidance provided on the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar. Questions concerning SAR submissions can be directed to the ED SAR Team at EDSAR@amrdec.army.mil or call the SAR Team at 256-313-8978, 256-313-0341 or 256-313-8994. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation however; solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
