Description: NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Philadelphia intends to procure two new and unused Motorized 65 Ton Capacity molten metal ladles with the capability to remotely tilt them to pour the hot metal into a mold in support of the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) in the Philadelphia Naval Business Center. It is anticipated that this requirement will be evaluated on past performance is more important than price, and a Best Value decision will be made to one company in accordance with the evaluation criteria above. This will be processed on a full and open competition. A firm fixed price type contract will be issued and conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5. The applicable NAIC is 332312. The solicitation N00189-15-T-Z157 will be posted onto the NECO website approximately on 02 July 2015.
