The diesel engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Man Diesel-Semt Pielstick of Germany ("Man Diesel"), for the T-AKE Class ship. The kits requested must be supplied by an authorized MAN Diesel representative. e. The solicitation will be made available on www.fbo.gov on or about 23 June 2015. 17. Place of Contract Performance: N/A 18. The decision to set aside this procurement as unrestricted was made from Market Research. Previous procurements for this supply have shown that OEM for the diesel engines for the T-AKE class of ships, Man Diesel, has a limited distributorship of two companies in the United States. These companies are Fairbanks Morse Engine (FME) which is a large business and Motor-Services Hugo Stamp, Inc. (MSHS). Therefore, there is not an expectation of receiving offers from two or more small businesses. MSC small business office concurs with this decision.
