- CHEMICAL DEFENSE TRAINING FACILITY (CDTF) DRAFT PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) - INDUSTRY COMMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Subject DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is proposed for use in a forthcoming single award firm-fixed-price Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide for operation and maintenance services at the Chemical Defense Training Facility (CDTF), Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. In accordance with FAR Subpart 15.201, Exchanges with Industry before issuance of the formal/final RFP, MICC-Fort Leonard Wood is encouraging industry input, comments, and questions from all prospective offerors. The purpose of exchanging information is: 1. to identify and resolve concerns regarding the acquisition and to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities; 2. allow potential offerors to judge accurately if and how they can satisfy the Government's requirements; and 3. enhance the Government's ability to obtain quality services at reasonable prices by increasing efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation (if required), and contract award. Subject DRAFT PWS is being issued for the purpose of seeking industry comments and recommendations for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. The Government will not award a contract based upon prospective offeror responses to this announcement. The Government will not assume any costs associated with industry responses submitted in response to this notice. Please note, the DRAFT PWS is considered to accurately reflect the proposed Contractor performance work requirements and parameters for the subject acquisition however changes made to the Draft PWS may significantly alter the final content, Industry comments and responses relating to the DRAFT PWS should be submitted to the below no later than Friday, July 3, 2015.
