Description
TITLE: F3T0CP5170AW01, Sole Source Acquisition for the purchase of Monaco System CPU Software The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Monaco Enterprise Inc. Required items to be purchased are: This procurement will be for the purchase of Monaco D-21 MNS Client Workstation. This procurement will include one (1) D-21 MNS Client Workstation System with the following components: One (1) Client tower CPU, Windows 7 OS, Software (Fire, Map, and MNS), Mouse, Keyboard, Two (2) 19" Monitors, One (1) Desktop UPS power, One (1) Desktop VOIP Kit, media convertors for connection between the Command Post and Bldg. 4601, and a dispatch position which will include two (2) 19" monitors for D-21 related displays. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The original system (Monaco) and the upgraded system must be compatible and work properly together and the only way to ensure this happens is to award this upgrade as a sole source requirement to Monaco. Monaco Enterprises has proprietary rights to all parts and specifications and no other company makes equipment compatible with the Monaco System. The upgrade must be compatible with the Monaco Enterprises D-21 Force Protection System currently installed and in use at the 4th Fighter Wing. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 1 July 2015 at 10:00 A.M EST.
