- ALS Type III Ambulance Lease Lease of two ALS Type III Ambulances for 4th of July Weekend Events The Fire and Emergency Services Division (FESD) located at Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Camp Lejeune (MCIEAST-MCBCAMLEJ) has a requirement to provide Emergency Medical Services (EMS), to include transporting the sick and injured aboard the Installation. On 3, 4, and 5 of July 2015, MCIEAST-MCBCAMLEJ will be hosting a 4th of July Celebration aboard the Installation and a Red Bull Motor Cross Rally on July 3rd and 5th at Marine Corps Air Station New River. These events will draw large crowds of spectators from the local and surrounding areas. In order to provide EMS protection aboard the Installation and at the events the FESD will require two additional Advanced Life Support (ALS) transport capable vehicles. The vehicles will be delivered to MCIEAST-MCBCAMLEJ Bldg.58 FESD Headquarters on July 2, 2015 and be ready for pickup on July 6, 2015. Deliverables for the vendor shall be as listed below: • Provide two (2), Type III, KKK-A-182 compliant Ambulances for a period of no less than five days, July 2-6, 2015. • Unit should be clean, in proper working order and work within the defined parameters of the KKK-A-182 standard. • Ambulance should be able to accept a Stryker Power Pro XT Model 6500 Gurney. • There will not be a requirement for an on-board Oxygen supply; however unit should be fully equipped to accept an "H" size cylinder. • Shall provide a point of contact for the vehicle in the event that there are any electrical or mechanical repairs required during the lease. FESD will have a limited capacity to change tires and repair flats. Vendor should ensure that a spare tire is available. • Provide a person for a prelease and post lease inspection. All findings will be documented and a signed copy of the document given to FESD. • Ambulances will be delivered by 1300 on July 2 and be picked up by 1300 on July 6, 2015. See attached solicitation.
