Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement to complete a construction project entitled: Souris Court Levee repair. Using USACE provided plans and specifications; the successful bidder will be required to repair approximately 450 feet of flood damaged levee along the Souris River in Souris Court, Minot, ND (Ward County). The repairs include but are not limited to re-shaping and setting back the existing levee, tying-in to existing rock, placing riprap and bedding material, tree removal, clearing and grubbing of vegetation and stumps and providing topsoil and seeding at the site. The estimated completion date for this work is October 15, 2015. This procurement is set-aside 100 percent for small business. We intend to award one firm-fixed-price contract. NAICS/Size Standard: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990; Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $36.5M. Magnitude of Construction: The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000; the contract will require 100% performance and payment bonds. We intend to issue the Invitation for Bids (IFB/solicitation) on or about May 1, 2015, however, this date is subject to change and it is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor this site for changes, updates to this announcement and/or amendments to the solicitation once issued. The solicitation will not be issued less than 15 days from the date of this announcement.
