- NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture future requirements of spare assemblies of the F/A-18 Aircraft. These parts, as referenced below, are Critical Safety Items (CSI) and require engineering source approval prior to award. These units are sole-sourced to one source of supply; available data including all publications, associated drawings and specifications, as well as supporting test equipment availability required to manufacture these items are not available to purchase from other than the current approved source of supply. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity ™s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The spare assemblies are set forth by manufacturers part number and constitute Government Property as defined in FAR clause 52.245-1 Government Property or 52.245-1 Alternate I, as applicable. NAVSUP WSS is also seeking to determine if there are any commercial items (CI) or non-developmental items (NDI) that will satisfy future requirements for these units. In addition, NAVSUP WSS is seeking any eligible small business firms including service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, certified HUBZone small businesses, and certified 8(a) capable of manufacturing these units. Eligible contractors shall provide a submission to kelley.m.johnson@navy.mil no later than 29 June 2015 that includes: 1) Company Name and Cage Code 2) Part Number/NIIN eligible to manufacture 3) Is your company the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)? 4) Is your company a Small Business?
