- DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide recurring annual maintenance to include the inspection, cleaning and replacement of damaged parts of the swimming pool cover at Building 111. The swimming pool is covered by a metal structure with glazing. Glazing roof has motorized window opening (roof height: 6 meters) The items to be cleaned (with eco-friendly products) and inspected shall include glazing, glazing frames; slides/guides, hinges, etc.; roof window electric motors; closing devices, hardware etc., doors and lighting. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Work shall be performed at the swimming pool, in Building 111, U.S. Army Garrison Caserma Ederle, Vicenza Italy. EVALUATION PROCESS: The award criteria will be established in the solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all management services, supervision, personnel, labor, vehicles, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, general and specialized equipment and all other items and services necessary to inspect, clean and repair/replace damaged parts of the swimming pool cover in Building 111, at the Caserma Ederle Vicenza, Italy. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The U.S. Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. SERVICE PERFORMANCE: The Contractor shall perform the service in accordance with the Performance Work Statement which will address all the activities of the requirement. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Tentatively, one (1) base year and four (4) option years of twelve (12) month period each. SITE VISIT AND PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: Information about date and time for site visit and pre-proposal conference will be provided on a later date. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1.Certificato di Iscrizione alla Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self-certifications are NOT allowed. The business purpose (oggetto sociale) should include but is not limited to: Maintenance and Repair of Electrical Systems. 2.SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable on https://www.siac.difesa.it/tiki/tiki-index.php quote mark Request for NCAGE code/Richiesta Codice NCAGE quote mark ). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a Solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation. Submissions must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 10 July 2015.
