Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The NAVSUP, Fleet Logistics Center San Diego Contracting Office intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase the following: (1) FIRE STATION DUTY BOOTS (BT3003-0853-Pro Warrington Model #3003) and (2) STRUCTURAL FIREFIGHTING BOOTS (BT5006B-0805-Pro Warrington Model #5006). This is a BRAND NAME ONLY requirement. No substitution is accepted. NAICS Code is 316210 Footwear Manufacturing and the Small Business Standard is 1,000. Intentions are to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract, with a one year ordering BASE period plus two OPTION YEARS. This synopsis SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00244-15-T-0171. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Government ™s maximum quantity of boots ordered during a one year period is 200 pairs. The Buy American Act is applicable to this procurement. The Berry Amendment is not applicable to this procurement. This announcement will close at 3PM PST 29 June 2015. Questions in regards to this announcement must be received by 2:00 PM PST, 29 June 2015. Questions received after this date and time may not be addressed. Quoters must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at www.sam.gov It is anticipated that a Request For Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about June 30, 2015. This procurement is issued as 100% Small Business set aside. The Government is seeking quotations for new materials only. Inspection and acceptance will be Destination by the Government. Multiple delivery locations are contained in the attached Statement of Work. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All inquiries received by the closing date will be reviewed by the government. No telephone requests. Send all requests for solicitation package to rubeli.deinla@navy.mil before the closing date of this synopsis. Request must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, fax number, cage code, Tax ID number, Business size, county and DUNS number. Note 1 is applicable.
