- Solicitation Number: N00383-15-R-RAFT NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Air Cruisers (70167), Wall Township, NJ for the repair of parts associated with the Multi-Place Life Raft (MPLR) system. The intention of this solicitation is to add an additional item to the existing five year IDIQ contract N0038314D002P. The addition of this item is intended to begin in year 3 of the long term. This contract will include the repair of the following MPLR part: NSN: 7RH-4220-01-629-9239 LX Item Name: Life Raft, Inflatable P/N: 64510-105 BEQ: Y1-39, Y2-107, Y3-130 (inducted as NIIN 01-533-6123 P/N 64510-107) The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above MPLR repair parts. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 326199. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Air Cruisers will be solicited on or after 10 JUL 2015.
