Description
The scope of this effort is for the provision of operational, technical, and programmatic support of the Marine Corps CAOCL mission requirements. Principal support areas under this effort include all facets of execution required to support not only CAOCL's operationally focused LREC program, but also forward deployed units. Critical capabilities within this effort include: providing professional foreign LREC training and education programs and services that improve the cross-cultural effectiveness of Marines; providing language instruction and operational culture at each of the three (3) Marine Expeditionary Forces (MEF) I MEF Camp Pendleton, CA, II MEF Camp Lejeune, NC, III MEF Okinawa, Japan, 29 Palms, CA, and other subordinate commands at various locations around the world; and providing senior level experts in regionally oriented, ethnically relevant culture to serve as cultural advisors to operational unit commanders, normally in a forward deployed environment. Specific capabilities include translational social science research, program analysis, assessment and policy support, curriculum development, instructional systems design in accordance with established training and education standards. Additional capabilities include subject matter experts in operationally relevant culture general concepts and skilled in social and behavioral science (with sufficient knowledge of military missions) who can integrate culture general in CAOCL's education and training materials. The current contract ends on August 26, 2015. Due to the short turnaround time, the contractor should be able to start with no transition period, continue the above services without any delays, and be familiar with the existing procedures used for this program. The period of performance shall be for the period 27AUG15 - 26SEPT15.
