- Description
- Question 2: In the RFQ, it mentions that the contractor will perform maintenance and repairs on the Defender 200 Halon pump. What is the extent of these repairs and maintenance required, and if parts are required, will they be provided by the government or will the contractor be responsible for providing them? If the contractor is to provide the parts, will they be purchased outside the contract or do we have to cover the unknown cost in our bid? Answer 2: The KTR must provide their own halon pump and scale. Reason: if ours fails it will be our fault for work stoppage. Question 3: Just to clarify, the government will be providing the Remtec halon pump and scale for contractor use. We will not have to provide it, correct? Answer 3: No repairs, replace parts as required for completion of the 12 yr maintenance.
