Description

Sandpoint Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (IPNF) will solicit for Shertz Creek Culvert. This project includes removal of an existing 30 inch culvert and replacing with a 10 ft-8 in x 6 ft-11 in Corrugated Pipe Arch. This work will consist of constructing a stream channel through the pipe and installing grade control structures within the culvert and potentially outside the culvert near the inlet and outlet. Installing a 21 in x 15 in Corrugated Pipe Arch. Additionally a segment of road shall be reconstructed and shaped to obtain minimum cover and adequate approaches to the new structure together with commercial source surface aggregate placed on the reconstructed segment of road. This work will include placing commercial source riprap material at the inlet and outlet and for construction of the grade control structures. Forest Service Road 232 is approximately 15 miles East of Sandpoint, Idaho. Located at T.58N. R. 1E. in the section 34, Boise Meridian. Travel East from Sandpoint, Idaho on HWY 200 to FSR 232. Turn onto County Road 809 (Trout Creek). Stay on road 232 for about 3.95 miles and arrive at Wall Creek Crossing. Price range between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start July 2015 and complete by October 15, 2015. Solicitation to be issued on or around July 10, 2015.
