Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE - This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO 21), is soliciting information from qualified sources for the services required and the capability and experience to provide the necessary manpower and supervision to execute preventative maintenance and emergency services for Hill-Rom hospital beds, total amount is 201, located at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. The scope of work under this procurement includes providing all equipment, labor, materials, apparatus, tools, parts, transportation, supervision, permits, disposal, and expertise necessary to provide maintenance and emergency services for 201 various models of Hill-Rom beds. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is for a base period with three one-year option years with the total duration not to exceed 48 months. The corresponding North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. Respondents are requested to submit a capability statement not to exceed five pages that clearly addresses the following requirements: The company has experience in managing and performing a program of Hill-Rom beds preventative maintenance and emergency service for at least twenty-four months during the past thirty-six months for a full-service medical facility with at least 180 operating beds. Additional information: (1) Name of organization. (2) Organizational address(s) and telephone number. (3) Organization's point of contact and contact information including telephone number and e-mail address. (4) Current GSA contract number. (5) Current business size status for the applicable NAICS. (6) DUNS number. (7) Small Business Status. (8) Total number of years of experience in providing this service. (9) Current and/or past performance reference information for requirements of similar size that includes the contract/order number, customer, and customer contact information, contract value, period of performance, prime or subcontract, and a brief description of services provided under the contract/order number. Respondents will not be notified of the results. Based on the responses received, the Contracting Officer reserves the right to determine the set-aside status. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this solicitation. All responses must be submitted by e-mail to the point of contact identified below; no other method of transmittal will be accepted. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be e-mailed to the Contracting Specialist, Debbie Starr, at deborah.starr2@va.gov. Please include "Hill-Rom Beds Service" in the subject line of the email. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time on July 6, 2015. Failure to submit all information requested on a timely basis will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested business.
