- P15PS01558 - JEFF ENCAUSTIC TILE RESTORATION, SAINT LOUIS, MO The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: The project entails rehabilitating the historic encaustic tile floor in courtroom 124 at the Old Courthouse. The main purpose of the project is to preserve and protect as much of the historical fabric as possible for future generations. Scope of work to include salvaging existing tile and clean mastic and filler material from tile and reinstall to the greatest extent possible supplemented with newly sourced encaustic tile to match existing to cover the entire floor. In addition, the concrete sub floor will be replaced in its entirety with new reinforced concrete slab prior to tile installation. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238340 - Tile and Terrazzo Contractors, and the small business size standard is $15.0M. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of construction is between $250,000 to $500,000. This solicitation is advertised under Small Business set-aside.
