Description

Provide all design, labor, equipment and materials to add eleven exterior and interior access points (door entrances) to the existing PACS system at VAMC Dublin. Integrate these new access control points into the existing PACS. There are no previous generation card readers at these locations. Provide appropriate hardware upgrades to the doors (power, door position switches, electric door strikes, electromagnetic locks, etc.) for a complete installation. This scope includes construction related activities associated with provision of 120V power to door locations, tie-in to Building Fire Alarm System (Simplex) and door modifications and improvements required for a complete installation. Due to the complexities involved in this integration, and the importance to both patient/employee security and safety, this is anticipated to be a sole source requirement.
