ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0001 1 Each Haul, Block, Launch FFP MILSTRIP: M3014615SU00198 ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0002 1 Each Laydays in boat yard, 2 weeks FFP MILSTRIP: M3014615SU00198 ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT 0003 1 Each Farrow blast hull bottom FFP Vendor shall farrow blast hull bottom to bare metal MILSTRIP: M3014615SU00198 SCOPE OF WORK •1. The government shall make the vessel available to the contractor by way of water. The contractor's facility shall not be more than fifty miles by water and one hour driving time via government vehicle from the Navy Boat Docks at Cherry Point, North Carolina. •2. The contractor shall haul, pressure wash, block and launch the vessel. •3. The contractor shall have an estimated two weeks lay days. •4. The contractor shall remove port and starboard propellers if necessary to accomplish blasting operation. •5. The contractor shall Farrow blast the bottom of hull from boot stripe down to bare metal. Sand used shall be fine or extra fine grit as necessary to accomplish the job and leave as smooth as finish as possible. •6. Contractor shall clean up and dispose of residue from blasting operation. •7. Government employees will prime paint, replace zincs on bottom, and sand fare and spray paint sides of hull. •8. The government employees require access to the vessel with vehicle/trailer in close proximity (25 ft.) to conduct necessary repairs/work during normal work hours of 0730 to 1700 week days. Contractor shall allow government to complete any necessary repairs while the vessel is blocked. •9. The government shall inspect vessel for final acceptance. •10. The contract shall launch vessel after final acceptance. The contracted boat yard is responsible for providing safe working conditions for not only their own employees but also for government civilian/military personnel who perform work at the boat yard during the yard period. Therefore, government requires the boat yard to employ safety Best Management Practices (BMP) complying with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) state and federal laws.
