Description

This is NOT a request for quote- USDA, ARS, Pullman, WA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Siebring, Box 658, George, IA 51237 for a SG12 Steam Sterilizer, AB12 Blower, and an ST1.0 Dump Wagon. This equipment is necessary because we are currently using two of these units on another research project within the USDA/WSU community. We have a need for an additional unit. As we are currently using two of these same units, we also have the parts needed for routine repairs kept in stock to prevent work stoppage for broken units. By purchasing the same unit we would not have the need to buy additional parts for a different unit which would save the Government time, money, and prevent extended delays in research. Our justification to award is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All inquiries on this action can be submitted in writing via email to brian.fien@ars.usda.gov NO LATER THAN 2 July 2015 @ 11:30PM PST. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
