Description
Please see below the responses to vendor questions received regarding RFQ no. VA243-15-Q-1008. 1.Will there be an EPA clause included in the contract? I noticed that there is no Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) clause included in the solicitation. Answer: The solicitation will not be amended to add an EPA clause. 2.How soon after the response due date do you intend to make an award? The more time that passes after our quote is submitted, the more risk there is of fuel prices fluctuating from the price submitted in the quote. Answer: Award will likely be made within two weeks of due date of responses. 3.Number of tank(s) where the fuel will be delivered into? Answer: There are three tanks. 4.Is/Are the tank(s) aboveground or underground? Answer: They are aboveground storage tanks. 5.What is the size of each tank(s)? Answer: Each tank holds 30,000 US Gallons. 6.Is there access for a small (tank wagon/bobtail) or a large (transport, semi tractor and tank trailer) truck? Answer: A 10,000 gallon tanker is acceptable. 7.What is the distance from tank(s) to the road? Answer: Approximately 20 feet. 8.How close, in feet, can the delivery truck get to each tank? Answer: Approximately 25 feet from fill ports. 9.Length of hose needed to reach and connect to each tank? Answer: Approximately 25 feet. 10.Are any special (type) connectors needed (e.g., 3" cam-lock, etc.)? Answer: A cam lock is needed. The vendor should bring a variety of sizes.
