Description

The Department of Navy, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a competitive small business set-aside solicitation for Antenna and Radome Radar Range upgrades located at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE). The requirement will require the replacement and upgrade of the current antenna and radome radar range equipment. A Sources Sought notice was published under N6883615SS265 on 08 May 2015 in accordance with FAR 5.2. The solicitation is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type award. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside and the FLC Small Business Office concurs with the small business set-aside determination. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334515 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. The FSC Code is 5840. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract. Registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM, Bldg. 168, NAS JAX. Five days prior to the site visit, all vendors interested in attending are required to contact Mr. Ryan Johnson at 904-790-4221; ryan.johnson@navy.mil; to obtain instructions for entering NAS JAX. Vendors are required to provide a list of all attendees to Mr. Johnson. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at FedBizOpps.Gov. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technical proposals. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the solicitation.
