Description

This is a Request for Information for a tentative requirement to provide Herman Miller Healthcare Compass Modular Casework or equal and Herman Miller Structured Laboratory Furniture systems or equal at the VA Monterey Health Care Center, Monterey California as further defined in the attached draft Salient characteristics and drawings. As part of its Market Research, NCO 21 is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the casework systems as further described in the attached documents. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The attached draft salient characteristics and drawings describes only the currently contemplated possible requirement and may vary from any final salient characteristics and drawings included in any future Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated period of performance is two hundred forty (240) calendar days (for field measurements, manufacture lead-time, mock-up and installation) to be located at the VA Monterey Health Care Center Monterey California, 473 Cabrillo Street, Monterey CA 93944. A Request for Quote using the following NAICS is contemplated: 337127. The estimated magnitude of this requirement is $750,000-$1.5M. Please provide: 1. The VA cannot award any c/o contracts. 2. Socio-economic category. 3. Proof of Authorized Distributor (letter from manufacturer to ensure valid warranty). 4. Is contract financing is required or can you obtain financing for entire project on your own. This RFI is only for identifying potential sources as part of NCO 21's Market Research. No RFQ exists. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which the agency can issue any contract. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Do not submit pricing information in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI.
