- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION #W912PF-15-T-0098 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 using the Simplified Acquisition Procedure for commercial information found at FAR 13-5 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912PF-15-T-0098 and it is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation is unrestricted and all interested offerors shall submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-57, DCN 20120330 and AFAC 2012-0330. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is: 423830 The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to purchase one ELECTRIC FORKLIFT 4 WHEELS for Public Work Office as per detailed description and specifications listed on the attached page where vendors are required to specify the total cost of the item. The forklift shall meet the requirements specified on the attached specifications. Place of Delivery: PUBLIC WORK OFFICE RPMA, SUPPLY BRANCH DEPOT 56128 TIRRENIA (PISA) All quotes must be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than 1200 pm (GMT+01:00, Rome) on 22 JULY 15. The offeror is solely responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. The Government reserves the right to evaluate quotes and award a contract without discussions with offerors. The Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 will be used. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items - The addendum to paragraph (a) is as follows: quote mark The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government specifications, price, delivery terms and conditions quote mark. All responsible offerors may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. All offerors responding to the solicitation are required to be registered in the System for Award Management in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and are also required to complete Offeror Representations and Certifications in accordance with FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. All quotes shall include, when applicable, the manufacturer, the model number, the specifications and measurements, pictures, price (US dollars or foreign currency which will be converted to US Dollars on the date of award according to Federal Reserve exchange rates), number of delivery days, company, point of contact, point of contact phone number, GSA contract number (if applicable) and any payment discount terms. Each offer shall clearly indicate the capability of the items to meet all specifications. Regarding the quotes submitted in Euro currency, the US Government is exempt from payment of Imposta Valore Aggiunto (IVA) tax in accordance with DFAR 252.229-7003, Tax Exemptions and with Article 72 of the Italian IVA implementing Decree Law 633, dated October 26, 1972.
