Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) NCO 20 awarded a sole source blanket purchase / consignment agreement to Abbott Laboratories, Vascular Division in accordance with FAR Part 13 and VHA Directive 1081. The authority for this J&A is; FAR 6.302-5 and VAAR 806.302-S(b)(l): Authorized or required by statute (38 U.S.C. Section 8123): The agreement is intended to be short term, one year, to provide firm fixed pricing for Interventional Radiology Stents that are not available on any Federal Supply Schedule or National Use Contract for Prosthetics and will be stocked on a consignment basis in the IR Lab at the Portland VA Healthcare System located in Portland Oregon and used as prescribe by VA Clinicians for surgical implant procedures. This notice is to post the Justification & Approval in accordance with FAR Part 6.305(a) and is not a request for competitive proposals.
