Description

Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition The Small Business Administration intends to award a sole source fixed-price contract to Lexis Nexis, for LAW Pre-Discovery licenses. LAW PreDiscovery Software is an imaging and electronic discovery processing application that allows litigation teams to preview hundreds of e-discovery and scanned documents prior to reviewing and processing. The period of performance is August 30th, 2015 through August 29th, 2016. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. The Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this notice. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation.
