- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. SYNOPSIS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. This solicitation number AG-7442-S-15-0015 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 333111; the size standard is 500 employees. The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. DESCRIPTION. The USDA NRCS Knox City Plant Material Center (KCPMC), Knox City, Texas has a requirement for two (2) ea KVGT 489 KASCO Versa Drill or equal. For use for field planting establishment throughout the State of Texas. The offeror will provide a KVGT 489 KASCO Versa Drill or equal. If providing an equal, provide the manufacturer and part number of the item so that evaluation of the item can be made. In order to determine an acceptable equal, the following minimum specifications must be met: 1. No-till drill - 48" width; 2. 3 separate seed boxes (legume box, native warm season grass box, small seed box); 3. Front slicer discs followed by disc openers; 4. Cast iron cultipacker wheels with attached mudscrapers, 5. Weighing no more than 1,000 pounds. No-Till Versa Drill will be delivered/shipped to James E Bud Smith Plant Material Center, located at 3950 FM 1292, Ste 100, Knox City, Texas, 79529. Please include all freight costs in your quote or state that freight is included in the total amount of your quote.
