- This requirement is being issued as UNRESTRICTED under Request for Proposal (RFP) No. W912P8-15-R-0045 and is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The designated NAICS code is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. A single firm-fixed contract will be made to the responsible and responsive offeror having the lowest price. Proposals may be submitted in hard copy or electronically. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of proposal and acknowledgement of all amendments by time and date stated within the solicitation. Contractors shall complete the schedule included in the SF 1449 including FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, Alt I. All proposals should include the following minimum information: Company Name, Address, Cage Code and DUNS Number, Taxpayer I.D. Number, Payment Terms and/or Discount Terms, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Fax Number and Email Address. The requirement is for the services of a contractor to furnish all management, supervision, labor, subcontracting, services of manufacturer's representatives and all facilities, utilities, shore power, equipment, tools, lubricants, fuels, materials and articles (excluding Government-furnished property) required to fully execute the Mandatory and Contracting Officer authorized Optional work items as outlined in the specifications. The bid schedule includes but is not limited to the following items: Drydocking; Gas Freeing and Gas Free Certificate; Ultrasonic Testing; Renewal of Hull Plating, Structurals, and Rubrail (Optional); Welding (Optional); Cleaning and Painting Tanks, Hull Exterior Deck Exterior, Deck Fittings, Superstructure and Interior Painting; Anode Repairs (Optional); Repairs to Sea Chests, Valves and Strainers; and Repairs to the Port Stern Hull. THE RFP WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR ABOUT 7 JULY 2015. The due date will be as stated in Block 8 of the SF 1449 solicitation once posted. Proposals should be marked with the solicitation number W912P8-15-R-0045 and addressed to Jenifer Bordelon, Contract Specialist or can be emailed to Jenifer.M.Bordelon@usace.army.mil. The contract specialist for this RFP is Jenifer M. Bordelon at 504-862-2466. Vendors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be eligible for award.
