Description

The project consists of repairing approximately 4,300 linear feet of storm-damages on the Middle Breakwater and Long Beach Breakwater. The proposed repairs will entail placement of approximately 75,000 tons of new armor stone and resetting of existing armor stone, returning the damaged sections to original design conditions. Location of this work will be the Port of Los Angeles and Port of Long Beach, San Pedro Bay, California. The estimated cost range of construction for the base bid is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The estimated cost range of construction for the base bid plus options is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Estimated duration of the project: 450 Calendar Days. This solicitation is an unrestricted procurement and will be issued under Full and Open Competition. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z2PZ, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $36,500,000. Contract Clause No. FAR 52.219-4, entitled, Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns will be applied to this procurement. The acquisition will use FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding procedures for award. All interested firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts. The solicitation will be available on or about July 21, 2015. All offerors are advised that this project may be delayed, cancelled or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation and/or final award process.
