VA243-15-N-1173 ****Request for information only**** INDUSTRIAL DRYERS & WASHING MACHINE NEW EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION NORTHPORT - VA NEW JERSEY HEALTHCARE SYSTEM This request for information (RFI) is posted for market research purposes ONLY. It is not a solicitation. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, NY intends to purchase a new washer and steam dryers as a replacement of the existing washer and dryers that are B.E.R. (Beyond Economical Repair). This equipment is needed to supplement the facilities reliance on St. Albans in supplying VAMC Northport's linen needs, especially in cases of extreme emergency. Objectives The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, tools, shipping, and installation for the new washers and dryers, and any items needed for the removal of the existing washers and dryers. Dryer2.00EA The contractor is responsible for the removal of one old 600LB washer, four 100LB dryers and one 400 LB dryer for trade-in. Installation of the new washers and dryers will be installed in the existing area of the old equipment. The contractor is responsible for installing the new washers and dryers, to include anchor bolts and grouting between the washer base and floor, in accordance with the manufacturer's written instructions.
