Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a continuing requirement for contractor support for Symantec eDiscovery Platform (Clearwell) software and licenses (version 8.x) to address the security requirements of USPTO's plan of action and milestones. The USPTO intends to negotiate and award a contract for Symantec eDiscovery Platform (powered by Clearwell), Intelligent Electronic Discovery Software Version 8.x (latest version), NAICS Code 511210 to Government Acquisitions, 720 E Pete Rose Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202 for a period of performance of a Base Year and three (3) Option Years with an estimated value of $536,466.45. The anticipated award date is July 8, 2015. The USPTO publicized this requirement on July 7, 2015 through a Sources Sought notice and the results indicate that Government Acquisitions is the only known qualified source. As a result of USPTO's exemption from the Competition in Contracting Act, the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) and the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
