Description
*This is an amendment to the original solicitation to clarify the below requirements verbiage regarding to the submission of proposals. Proposals shall includ proof that the offeror is capable of providing the tubes as stated in order to be considered. This may include a detailed capability statement, drawings, or sample. This requirement shall also be submitted by the response date and time listed below. Late submissions will not be considered. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Request for Quotes, W912PM-14-T-0032. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202(a) (13), exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is unrestricted and is solicited under NAICS 334516. The small business size standard for this NAICS is 500. This solicitation number is W912PM-14-T-0032, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-80. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requests quotes for 300 individual 20' foot long clear Polycarbonate tubes. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, shipping and materials to provide clear Polycarbonate Tubes threaded on both ends. The inside diameter of the tubes shall be 3.625 inches and the outside diameter shall be 3.875 inches with a nominal wall thickness of.25 quote mark. Each end of the liner/tube must be threaded with reverse straight threads, 8 threads per inch with at least two (2 quote mark ) inches of usable threads at a nominal thread depth of 1/16 inch. Contractor shall provide technical information and drawings/photos to technical POC along with their quote for technical evaluation. All Items shall be delivered no more than 45 days after contract award date. All shipping costs shall be included in the quote. Delivery shall be made to the Engineer Repair Yard in Wilmington, NC.
