- The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement the dredging of the K-Pond This pond is used for the effluent discharge from thier sewage plant. Specific dredging include, but not limited to the following: - Remove the mud and silt that has built up on the bottom in the last 8 year period. - Work will take place in the following county in West Virginia: Jefferson - The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000 - Request for Quotes (RFQ) G15PS00605 will close July 29, 2015. The Government will consider acceptance of alternative payment protections. - A site visit will be held on July 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. - The NAICS Code is 221320. The size standard is 20.5 million. This acquisition willbe 100% Small Bussiness Set Aside. - The anticipated award date of the contract is Aug 7, 2015. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be emailed to abenton@usgs.gov or mailed to the address specified in the RFP. Faxed Quotes will not be accepted.
