- Market Research Questionnaire - Unarmed Guard Services-FCI Texarkana, TX The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The projected requirement is for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services to be provided for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at Texarkana, TX. The contractor will maintain constant guard and direct visual observation of federal prison inmate patients on site at a local hospital/medical facility designated by the Bureau of Prisons. It is estimated that 5,000 hourly unarmed guard sessions will generally be required for each 12 month contract period. Services will be required as needed and may be required at any time during a 24 hour period on any day of the week. It is anticipated that a resulting contract will consist of a base year plus four (4) additional one year option periods. Note: The purpose of this solicitation is for the identification of potential sources interested in the requirement only and is not a solicitation for quotes/offers. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued/posted a later date in the near future at which time interested parties may submit quotes.
