- Description
- Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contracting Office, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Meggitt Training Systems, Inc. for Battery Eliminator Assembly for Range Control on Fort Gordon Georgia. The system has tailored wiring to plug into 3 prong 110 voltage lifters and is made specific to Meggitt Stationary Infantry Targets currently on site. Proprietary configuration and programming can only be supported by the manufacturer. A determination not to compete this requirement was made pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. If no affirmative written responses are received by 12:00 noon EST, 13 July 2015, award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses may be submitted to deborah.s.mcgugan.civ@mail.mil
