- This is a PRESOLICITATION notice of intent. The Phoenix and Southern Arizona VA Health Care Systems (PVAHCS) and (SAVAHCS), intends to issue a solicitation for campus window washing services at each of the facilities. Release of the solicitation is estimated to be on or about July 20, 2015. This is NOT a request for proposals, is NOT an authorization to begin work, and does NOT commit the Government to purchase any services. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of any responses to this notice. The two facilities, located in Phoenix and Tucson AZ respectively, are seeking a qualified contractor that can provide complete window washing services IAW the solicitation and performance work statement.. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720 and any resulting solicitation will be a Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments upon their posting to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov; the solicitation number will be VA258-16-R-0001. It is the contractors' responsibility to monitor the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE) for the solicitation release and any/all subsequent amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote in response to the solicitation when it is released. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed-Price Award based on the lowest price, technically acceptable quote. Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Point of Contact for this action is Mr. Greg Manning, Gregory.Manning2@va.gov Contractors shall not contact any other Government personnel regarding this notice. Contacting any Government personnel other than the individual designated above may result in an organizational conflict of interest (OCI) and may result in a contractor being excluded from the competition and consideration for award.
