Description

Reference - Assessment Security Software In accordance with FAR 13.501(a), the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Respondus under NAICS: 511210. The DoDEA requires assessment security software to be used in conjunction with the Activity's Learning Management System, Schoology, which is utilized DoDEA wide. In accordance with FAR 13.501(a), Respondus is the only distributor capable of providing a lockdown browser that integrates with Schoology's Learning Tools Interoperability function; fulfilling the DoDEA's requirement. This special notice is not a request for proposals. Interested parties that feel they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. Responses are to be submitted by email to Mr. Iain Sherry: Iain.Sherry@hq.dodea.edu Documentation should be received within 5 business days after the publication date of this synopsis in order to be considered by the DoDEA. A determination by the DoDEA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within discretion of the Government.
