Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All quotations submitted with equivalent supplies shall provide a matrix that directly point back to all MEC's. Minimum Essential Characteristics (MEC) for Digital PCR System Brand Name or Equal BIO RAD: QX200 AutoDG ddPCR System 1)System should include droplet generator, block for PCR machine and a droplet reader. 2)Must be able to generate droplets for 1-8 samples per cartridge. 3)Must not require supervision or hands-on activity during droplet generation 4)Must have guided setup in less than 5 minutes 5)Must have HEPA filter enclosure for reduced contamination. 6)Should have user defined plate layout with increments of 8 wells. 7)Must have touch screen interface for droplet generation. 8)Must have a countdown timer that displays the time. 9)Droplet Generation should be able to set up in 3 easy steps. 10)Must produce at least 20,000 droplets per 20 microliter sample. 11)Droplet generator must not be more than 28 W x 36D x 13 H cm 12)Droplet reader must not be more than 66 W x 52D x 29 H cm 13)All items must have extended warranty with a period of performance of at least four (4) years. 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF QUOTES Failure to submit all documents concurrently and in accordance with these instructions may render a quote unacceptable. The quote and supporting documentation shall be submitted electronically via email to Abraham Pottenger at abraham.g.pottenger.civ@mail.mil by the date and time specified on the cover page of this SF1449 Soliciation. 2. QUOTE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION EVALUATION To aid in evaluation, quote shall be practical, specific complete, and logically assembled. The quote shall be in a clear, concise format satisfying all requirements of this solicitation. It shall be in sufficient detail to demonstrate a clear understanding of the work to be accomplished.
