- PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS APPLICABLE TO THE FOLLOWING CLASSIFICATION CODES: 14 (Guided Missiles); 15 (Aircraft & airframe structural components); 16 (Aircraft components & accessories); 17 (Aircraft launching, landing & ground handling equipment); 28 (Engines, turbines & components); 29 (Engine accessories); 30 (Mechanical power transmission equipment); 31 (Bearings); A (Research & Development); K (Modification of equipment) Synopsis: In March 2015 at the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI), MG Richardson announced his intent to open up the AMCOM Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) Investment project data call to industry. The AMCOM web portal that will provide industry with the opportunity to submit AWCF projects will go live on Friday, 10 July 2015. The AWCF web portal will be located on the AMCOM's Competition Management Office - CMO home page (http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_home). The website includes: overview of the Data Call process; the semi-annual Integrated Priority List (IPL); the AWCF project template; and a Frequently Asked Questions. The website provides industry with the opportunity to submit candidate AWCF project packages for Government evaluation and to request PMO coordination visits and/or additional information. AMCOM will host two (2) industry Question and Answer (Q&A) sessions where the website and its contents will be demonstrated. The tentative dates for the industry Q&A sessions in Huntsville Alabama are 16 July and 23 July 2015. Additional information will be provided in an update to this notice.
