Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All quotations submitted with equivalent supplies shall provide a matrix that directly point back to all MEC's. Minimum Essential Characteristics Brand Name or Equal 6 Degree Of Freedom (DOF) Inertial Measurement Unit MEMSIC: Advanced MEMs 6 Axis Inertial Measurement Unit Two (2) 6DOF Inertial Measurement Units are required with the following characteristics: 1.Must have an operating temperature of -40 to +70 C or better 2.Must have a non-operating temperature of -50 to +85 C or better 3.Must have a non-operating vibration less than 6 g rms (20 Hz - 2KHz random) 4.Must have a non-operating shock greater than 1000g (1 ms half sine wave) 5.Must have an input voltage 5 to 30 VDC range or better 6.Must have an input current less than 250 mA 7.Must have a power consumption less than 3W at 12 VDC 8.Must have an RS-232 digital output format 9.Must have an Analog range 4 VDC, pins 8,9,10,12,13,14 10.Must be no larger than 3 x 4 x 4 in (including mounting flanges) 11.Must weigh less than 1.5 lbs 12.Must have a 15-pin sub-miniature quote mark D quote mark male connector or adapter 13.Must measure angular rate in three (3) directions (roll, pitch, and yaw). Each sensor(s) must have the following characteristics: a.Must have a roll, pitch, and yaw range of at least 200 /sec b.Roll, pitch, and yaw must have a bias less than 1 /sec c.Must have a scale factor accuracy less than 1% d.Must have full scale non-linearity less than 0.3% e.Must have resolution less than 0.05 /sec f.Must have a bandwidth greater than 25 Hz on -3dB point g.Must have a random walk less than 4.5 /hr1/2 14.Must measure acceleration in three (3) directions (x, y, and z). Each accelerometer(s) must have the following characteristics: a.Must have a 10g range in each direction b.Must have a bias in each direction less than 12mg c.Must have a scale factor accuracy less than 1% d.Must have a full scale non-linearity less than 1% e.Must have resolution less than 0.05 mg f.Must have a bandwidth greater than 75 Hz on -3dB point g.Must have a random walk less than 0.1m/s/hr1/2 1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF QUOTES Failure to submit all documents concurrently and in accordance with these instructions may render a quote unacceptable. The quote and supporting documentation shall be submitted electronically via email to Abraham Pottenger at abraham.g.pottenger.civ@mail.mil by the date and time specified on the cover page of this SF1449 Soliciation. 2. QUOTE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION EVALUATION To aid in evaluation, quote shall be practical, specific complete, and logically assembled. The quote shall be in a clear, concise format satisfying all requirements of this solicitation. It shall be in sufficient detail to demonstrate a clear understanding of the work to be accomplished. Quotes shall be valid for at least 90 days.
