Description

The Department of State, Ralph J. Bunche Library, intends to issue a Sole Source order with Global Trade Information Services for Global Trade Atlas. Market research was conducted and it has been determined that ther is only one responsible source for our requirements in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The services being sought are online access to international merchandise trade data from all major world markets, more than 65 countries, representing nearly 100 percent of total world trade. the reporting should be to the 4-digit HS level, updated quarterly for all merchandise and for HS 2709, Crude Oil, the reporting should be monthly for all reporting countries. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available; parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.
